Hidden Gem. Felt like being in a 5 star hotel in the middle of nature, friendly staff. Amazing restaurant, perfect for a escape

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Loved every moment of our stay and exploring the venue. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious. Spa was lovely and quaint but needed some tlc. However I would highly recommend it as brilliant value and fantastic service in a stunning venue.

Doxford Hall, Alnwick Northumberland. Hotel inside and out retains a wonderful old-world charm but with all the mods cons we need today. We only booked for one night, but within hours had booked to stay longer. The food is excellent and had no problems with my special dietary requirements. Whole of hotel including bedrooms are clean, warm and well equipped. Staff are amazing! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Jody in the restaurant is amazing and made our stay extra special, as did James in the bar. Definitely going back soon! Well done to the staff, management, and owners for their attention to detail to make our stay special

Excellent stay, it was a birthday surprise from my husband, staff all lovely and helpful, room was beautiful and clean, food was excellent, we will definitely be back
